| Description: | Position functions to assist in economic development as a program and profit making resource objective. Develop, administer, and manage small business loans assist in managing and training of staff. Perform varies marketing duties to promote knowledge of CEDA’s Revolving Loan Program (seminar, events, mailing, and etc). Increase referrals of new clients to expand overall portfolio. |
| Duties: | Oversee and manage loans, marketing, underwriting, loan processing, and closings. Solicit new loan opportunities generating leads through referrals sources and direct contact with potential borrowers. Include, but not limited to developing and implementing marketing strategies and tools for small business and middle market companies. Structuring deals to present to loan committee; coordinating documentation with subsequent account management, maintaining accurate and complete loan files. Facilitating/coordinating loan applications and follow-up with funded businesses to insure monitoring /compliance and ensuring accuracy and completing written and financial reports specific to funding source requirements; coordinating activities of loan committee reports. Train and develop staff including performance reviews and write-ups. |
| Qualifications: | Masters degree, MBA in Business, Economics, Finance, Urban Planning, Social Services, or related field. At least five years of Community Development, Public Policy, Social Services, Financial or Banking Institutions, or related Business Field. Knowledge of regulations governing financial institutions, knowledge of public financing tools and Commercial Lending portfolio management. Previous lending experience is preferred. Experience in negotiations and closing of complex financial packages are necessary. Computer literate and knowledge of Moody’s KMV Financial Analyst or comparable, excellent written and verbal communication skills. |
