CNN serves meals to seniors at over twenty dining facilities in suburban Cook County. Participants can enjoy a nutritious hot meal, activities and fellowship Monday through Friday. Meals are planned by registered dieticians, and are designed to meet one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowance of nutrients for older persons. Activities include bingo, card games, holiday parties and birthday celebrations.
Retirement communities and assisted living facilities are welcome to bring groups for meals and activities. Each facility is handicapped-accessible and everyone is encouraged to participate. Transportation may be available.

Eligibility Requirements:
Participants must be age 60 or older (spouses are welcome and may be of any age). The suggested donation is $2.50 per meal for each participant, but every senior will be served regardless of ability to donate.
The CEDA Community Development Fund (CDF) provides capital, economic development services, financial literacy and technical assistance to small businesses in Suburban Cook County and the City of Chicago who suffer social and financial obstacles.
