CEDA Proudly Sponsors Therapy Puppies at NEUAC Conference
Words by CEDA Admin
At this year’s National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition (NEUAC) conference, CEDA was proud to be one of the sponsors of a heartwarming and memorable experience—therapy puppies! The initiative brought joy and calm to attendees while highlighting the important role therapy animals play in mental health and emotional support.
Several CEDA Energy Services leaders, including Latoya Butler, Manuel Alicea, and Craig Antosh, took a well-deserved moment to relax with the therapy puppies between sessions. They especially appreciated the opportunity to learn how these dogs are trained to become lifelong companions for individuals and families seeking comfort, emotional support, and stability.
One pup that stole everyone's heart was Prince, a sweet Labrador in training to become a therapy dog for a veteran. Learning about Prince’s journey made the experience even more meaningful and served as a touching reminder of the connection between service, healing, and community.
As a sponsor, CEDA was honored to support an initiative that aligns with our values of compassion, well-being, and holistic support. Just as CEDA helps stabilize households through energy assistance and other vital services, therapy dogs like Prince offer a unique kind of care—one rooted in presence, comfort, and companionship.
With excitement and pride, we celebrate our role in this unique and impactful experience. NEUAC 2025 reminded us that small moments—like a puppy cuddle—can offer big healing.
