CEDA’s Procurement Department takes leadership in the acquisition of high quality/value-added goods and services for the Agency. It ensures that user departments obtain the goods and services of the quality and quantity they require, within their stated time-frames, at the least possible cost and through a method that conforms to the procurement policies and procedures set forth by CEDA’s various funding sources. Procurement is responsible for (1) defining, developing and maintaining supplier relationships for key commodity groups, (2) ensuring that CEDA utilizes pre-qualified and authorized vendors (3) overseeing equal opportunity for all eligible contractors, suppliers and vendors and for (4) promoting good vendor relationships through fair buying practices and strict maintenance of ethical standards.
