International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8. This year we Choose to Challenge Poverty. A challenged world is an alert world. And from challenge comes change.
Women throughout Chicagoland need YOU. Women in the workforce declined 15.1% because of the pandemic – almost twice as much as men. Working mothers are especially affected by COVID-19 as many of the women left the labor force entirely.
Women reinvest up to 90% of their incomes back into their families and communities. Together, we can change the lives of women in poverty who go on to empower those around them.
